Mays is a goto for me!!! I’m in love with the King Ka Lee I believe. It’s the yellow curry with rice, chicken and potatoes. Perfect for a winter day. The food is always cooked fresh and you can watch them cook it. It’s really fast I like to order when I get there because it only takes a real 5 mins. And I add a Thai tea for the spice. Ima medium + spice kinda guy. If you want to go crazy add mushrooms.

I had the Curry Chicken with White Rice and it’s was absolutely delicious. I also had ordered fried chicken wings. Hands-down, the best I have ever gotten outside of a chicken restaurant. Try this combo together: Curry, Chicken and Chicken Wings!!! You will have no regrets!

The first time I had this food was a week ago and it was soooo good, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Went back today and ordered the same thing and it’s good but not as good as the first time. Maybe it’s a different cook there today. Still some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. This will be my go to spot now.

I eat here 3-4 times a week for lunch and every experience has been great. I get the same thing and every time, it's been made to perfection. I'm not sure what people are expecting from a local, neighborhood Thai restaurant but the staff is super friendly, the food is affordable and I'm a fan. The Thai Fried rice is OUT OF CONTROL. My order? 1 Order of Wings (THE BEST IN FERNDALE) and an order of white rice, coat both with plum sauce and ENJOY! Thanks for the great food and always being cool!

Food tasted good. Wish I had asked for a higher spice level. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp, a spring roll and thai iced tea. After placing my order, I had to step out to pay for parking because most of the street parking pay booths do not work. When I got back my food was waiting on the counter. If you are dine in, you order at the counter and pay first. The atmosphere is nice. Smooth jazz plays with the occasional talking in between from what I assume to be a radio station. When I retrieved my food I was confused because the noodles aren't wide noodles. They only have thin noodles similar the ones found in Pad thai. I was hoping for wide flat noodles. I got my food and took my seat. The food taste good, but I only recommend the spring roll. It was nice. Classic taste and fried. The thai milk tea was more milky than expected. I'm used to a deeper orange color showing the balance of tea and milk. This is a light orange color as seen in the photo. More milk than tea. Seems most around here don't order spice so the levels are lower. If you like spice like me, I recommend othering hot. It won't be that spicy. The people who work here are really kind and having local connections, so if you become a regular, they will greet you in a more friendly manner and maybe even remember your name.

MAY'S BANGKOK THAI RESTAURANT FERNDALE Decent Thai restaurant in Ferndale downtown opposite Thai cafe. Good for carry-out and very limited dining in options . AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS Maintained just ok as more carry-out restaurant LOCATION Ferdale downtown . Paid city parking. QUALITY OF THE FOOD we ordered chicken fried rice, drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice . It's came out just ok. SERVICE Not so so friendly and no smile. More promoting carry-out and not dining. One person operation at front house. Customer service has areas of improvements. VALUE for MONEY reasonably priced and ok to try
